Háttér

Intézményük elsődleges szükséglete a diákság és munkatársaink nemzetközi dimenziókban történő tapasztalatszerzésének az elindítása. Szeretnénk 2016 óta működő intézményi profilunk folyamatos népszerűségnövekedéséből fakadó kihívásainkra magas szakmai színvonalú, Európa szerte jól működő, bevált metodikákkal és gyakorlatokkal választ és megoldást találni. Diákságunk motiváltságának a fenntartása és további erősítése elsősorban a nyelvi előkészítős profilú osztály esetében jelent kihívást számunkra. A hétszeres túljelentkezés ellenére azonban nehézséget jelent a speciális nevelési igényű diákok folyamatosan növekvő száma. Emellett egyre gyakrabban jelenik meg jó képességű diákjaink esetében a pályaválasztási helyzetekben tapasztalható döntésképtelenség.

Background

The primary need of our institution is the international immersion of students and staff with the purpose of gaining professional experience. We intend to find answers and solutions to the challenges arising from the continuously growing popularity of our institutional learning program launched in 2016 by means of high standard, well functioning European methods and practices. Maintaining and further strengthening our students’ motivation is fundamentally considered a challenge for us in the case of our foreign language specialized classes. In spite of the seven fold rate of over quota applications, the constant growth in the number of special needs students is alarming. Besides, we have been experiencing the failure of students to make decisions in professional oriention questions more and more frequently.

Célkitűzések

Szeretnénk a nyelvi előkészítős osztályaink diákságának érdeklődését és motivációját a jelenleginél is magasabb szintre emelni a tanulási hatékonyság optimalizálása érdekében. Továbbá szeretnénk felkarolni eltérő nevelési igényű diákjainkat, akik számára elengedhetetlen az egyenlő esélyek biztosítása felzárkóztatásuk és sikeres közép szintű érettségi vizsgáik érdekében. Emellett ugyancsak célul tűztük ki, hogy pályaválasztás előtt álló diákjaink megfelelő döntéshozatalát segítő tevékenységformát keresünk személyre szabott módszertani stratégiák alkalmazásával. Összességében tehát igyekszünk iskolánk diákcentrikusságát tovább erősíteni, szakmai repertoárunkat tovább szélesíteni.

Objectives

We would like to raise the interest and motivaton of the students of our foreign language specialised classes to an even higher degree in order to optimize th efficiency of learning. Further, we intend to reach out to special needs students, for whom ensuring equal opportunities is vital in order to help them catch up and pass their lower level final exams. In addition, we have set the objective to seek activities assisting the appropriate decision making of our students facing professional orientation by using personally tailored methodological strategies. All in all, we do our best to further promote the student-centredness of our school and to continue widening the spetrum of our methodological tools.

Megvalósítás

Két 12 fős csoportos diákmobilitást tervezünk, párhuzamosan folyó job shadowing tevékenységekkel, spanyolországi és írországi fogadóintézményeknél. Mindkét esetben másik, európai unióból származó diákok csoportjával közös projekt megvalósítása a cél, az előbbi esetben digitális és online módszerek alkalmazásával, támogatva a speciális nevelési igényű diákok integrációját, az utóbbi esetben pedig olyan pályaorientációs eszköztár megismerésével, mely a diákok felelős döntéshozatalát eredményezheti. 3 képzőintézmény 4 képzésén való részvétel által számítunk elsősorban módszertani eszköztárunk további bővülésére: Energizer Master Course, valamint Outdoor Education címmel valós életre építő tapasztalati módszerek elsajátítása valósulhat meg, újszerű vetületbe helyezve a tanulás folyamatát, akárcsak az International Collaboration and Project Management révén. A Creative Methods in Special Needs Education című kurzus eltérő nevelési igényű diákok játékos módon történő támogatását segíti elő.

Implementation

Our plan involves two mobility groups of 12 students along with parallel job shadowing activities at host institutions based in Spain and Ireland. In both cases, our goal is to implement a joint project with a group of students of EU citizenship, in the former case by means of digital and online methods, supporting the integration of special needs students, in the latter by familiarizing the students with a toolkit of professional orientation, which can result in the responsible decision making of students. By taking part in 4 professional training courses of 3 institutions do we expect our methodological repetoir to be further  enriched: the Energizer Master Course and Outdoor Education we manage to learn methods built upon real life experience, placing the learning process in a new perspective. The same is expected through International Collaboration and Project Management. A gamified way of supporting special needs students is promoted through Creative Methods in Special Needs Ed.

Eredmények

A mobilitásokban részt vevő diákok és munkatársak nyelvi kompetenciája jelentős mértékben bővül. Tanáraink módszertani eszköztára nagy mértékben gazdagodik. Sajátos nevelési igényű diákjaink esélyei javulnak, jó eséllyel zárkóznak fel társaikhoz. A részt vevő diákok pályaválasztással és elhelyezkedéssel kapcsolatos döntéshozatalának folyamata a megismert és adaptált eszköztárnak köszönhetően leegyszerűsödik. Diákjaink és munkatársaink mobilitások során szerzett tapasztalati tőkéje gazdagodik. Iskolánk módszertani repertoárja tovább bővül, nemzetköziesítési folyamatunk elindul.

Results

The linguistic competence of students and staff participating in the mobilites is expected to develop. Our teachers’ methodological toolkit will be enriched to a great extent. The opportunities of special needs students will be improved; their chances of catching up with their peers are high. The hardship of the process of participating students’ decision making to do with professional orientation and further education will be resolved thanks to the acquired and adapted toolkit. The range of experience of our students and staff will be enriched during the mobilities. The methodological repertoir of our school will further develop; the process of our school’s internationalization is to begin.
